Interesting article. I wonder if perfume people drawn to sweet gourmands eat less sweets than those who aren’t so drawn to those fragrances. Are their sweet tooths (sweet teeth?) satiated by their perfume or are they wired to eat more sweets overall?
Hard to say…I do know they make me think about food more, and/or remind me I’m hungry.
I thought it was interesting, too. But I am not sure I agree about why fast foood restaurants try to sell a lot of food quickly (he says before your nose gets satiated with the smells and you won’t want to order anymore). I think they just want to sell a lot quickly to make money.

My wardrobe is almost exclusively gourmand so I can reply with confidence concerning this matter :). Today I am wearing Chabaud Lait de Biscuit and it has assuaged my desire to plow into that box of cookies in the breakroom. I will enjoy the delightful fragrance of my perfume along with a cup of herbal tea instead.
