The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 5 October 2018 7 Comments

Would a Clear Mind in a rollerball come in handy? From Aromatherapy Associates: "A natural remedy of chamomile, lavender, frankincense and bergamot encourage a moment to reflect, collect your thoughts, refresh your mind and focus, thanks to its quietly moving aroma. Housed in floral packaging designed in the Liberty London studio, this convenient rollerball can be carried in your pocket, purse or handbag to ensure help is at hand whenever a little boost is needed." £18 for 10 ml at Liberty.

I would consider getting this if I could smell it in person, I love the concept & have a soft spot for Liberty.

I would consider it too! The notes sound wonderful.

If it had a Liberty design on the bottle, I might have it shipped from the UK :-)

(Probably not, but I’d at least be more tempted.)

A tad pricey, even for Liberty! Many years ago there was a company based in Wales called Cariad (meaning darling or sweetheart) which produced aromatherapy type bits & pieces – I bought a few rollerball offerings from them, including a stress relief/calm me down one for a colleague who was always very hassled at work – she was a firm believer in aromatherapy & loved it. Lovely company to deal with, beautifully packaged products but they don’t appear to still be in business. I tried the one to aid better sleep, which smelled lovely but didn’t help – poor sleep is something I’ve inherited from my late Mum & I don’t think anything other than prescription medication will help & in all these years I have not been prepared to go down that route & don’t think I ever will.

Just to be clear — in case I wasn’t — the product isn’t made by Liberty.

Smells don’t help me sleep either.

You were perfectly clear, Robin, but thank you anyway. Smells. chamomile tea, breathing exercises, hot/milky drink before bedtime, not watching telly just before bed – tried them all to no avail!

Sorry! My son has the same problem.
