I’m a fan of Plant Apothecary’s Facial Mist. If I remember correctly they have a sampler set of the body washes so you can try the different formulations. The company is also vegan, cruelty free, non gmo and gluten free. ????

I can only find one “kit” and it only has one of the shower gels…maybe they don’t make that anymore?

Aha! Well, I will not pay them to ship it but I may pop my head in and investigate.

Why do you need your body products to be gluten free?

I don’t personally but I do have family members that are affected by celiac disease. About 20% of people with celiac disease will develop skin rashes if there is gluten in the product.

Yes, if you have celiac, it matters.

I have a number of meds / supplements I take transdermally. It does change your attitude about the ingredients in your skincare!

Right. I just question touting that as one of its virtues. It’s like if skincare companies started touting “peanut-free!” in their list of reasons to use their products for the general population.

I would probably need that as a tattoo, maybe on the palms of my hands?

        Hee!

And count me as one previously unaware of even the possibility of transdermal exposure/contact irritation from gluten!

I’m not often swayed by the Daily Lemming, but I plunged over that cliff and ordered some CALM DOWN as a early birthday present to myself (I’m the only one who does that, right?) — no tatoo, though.

thanks, ringthing, I’m now thinking it would be fun to have CALM DOWN printed in reverse so it would read correctly in the mirror. 😉

    Picard: Calm down!

    Lily: Shut up!

    But seriously this sounds wonderful!

Capt. Picard forever! (Actually, now that I think of it, his “Tea: Earl Grey, hot” is fairly good, as calming mantras go.)
