Lush has released six fragrances as limited editions from the Lush Labs (formerly Lush Kitchen) series: Assassin, Cocktail, Metamorphosis, Orange Blossom, Over And Over, and Two More Hearts.
Assassin ~ previously released. "Kill distraction. Keep your composure. Reach for an authoritative perfume with its own agenda and just a hint of waspishness. Power dress in pine, vanilla and a Medusa stare on Monday morning when the skies are grey, the pavements slick with rain and you’re jostling for space on the tube. Suit up in sharp lime and enlivening neroli, as tart blackcurrant cuts through the crowds, kicking apathy to the kerb and reclaiming your personal space. Strut into the office. Coffee in hand; your head held high. This perfume says you mean business." £29.
Cocktail ~ previously released. "This strong, statement perfume will become completely, idiosyncratically yours. Jasmine smoulders, while elegant rose softens temperamental ylang ylang: a heady bloom that’s difficult to tame but lends a distinct finesse to floral fragrances. It’s an uncompromising fragrance with unique, transformative power on the skin: a wicked homage to French perfumery that turns you into the person you want to be: bold, captivating but ultimately unattainable. Just be prepared, this sultry after-dark companion requires a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ to wear." £25.
Metamorphosis ~ previously released. "A perfume that transforms on the heat of your skin into something stronger, sweeter and wiser. The initial rush of sharp Sicilian red mandarin and bittersweet neroli gradually succumbs to moody sandalwood and spicy clove. From the embers, emerges a smoky, incense-like sweetness, all the better for being broken down. It’s a fragrance that speaks of hardship and loss, but also closure: the sense of time passing and wounds healing. It’s reassurance in the face of adversity. And ultimately evolution into something better." £25.
Orange Blossom ~ previously released. "A sublimely evocative perfume, beautiful in its simplicity, yet complex to create. Forget saccharine orange blossom perfumes strangled with vanilla, here neroli from the bitter orange tree and sweet orange combine into a fragrance that’s just a little rough around the edges. Warm, woody rosewood, bergamot and plenty of unadulterated orange absolute recall Mediterranean orchards and rural towns: summer in perfect bloom. Simultaneously uplifting and heart-wrenching, it’s a fragrance that encapsulates the hedonistic holidays of your youth and makes you long to return." £35.
Over And Over ~ this was a bath bomb, not sure if it has ever been released as a liquid fragrance. "A portrait of the friend who wasn’t a friend, this strikingly tart and zesty perfume smells better than it deserves to. Beneath the juicy top notes, base notes of greed and betrayal simmer, masked by beguiling orris, which lends a thin veneer. Tangy lime, bergamot, fennel and cypress deliver one hell of a kick, while savoury, repetitive coriander notes turn over and over again on your skin, stripping back just a little of the sweetness. Revel in the sharpness of this most agreeable blend. Just don’t trust it." £19.
Two More Hearts ~ possibly new. "Come-hither jasmine meets tender rose as lust and caution battle for dominance on your skin. It’s the art of seduction envisioned in fragrance form, the wearer both full of desire yet trying to keep a lover at arm’s length. Under softer, harmonious vanilla notes, romantic rose blooms like the first flushes of love, promising tenderness and clumsy kisses, while carnal, sensual jasmine evokes long evenings dressed in nothing but each other’s company. It’s knowing that you’ve fallen hard, but holding your cards close to your chest. Beguile, bewitch and keep everyone guessing with this indefinable perfume, even when there is no turning back." £29.
Lush Assassin, Cocktail, Metamorphosis, Orange Blossom, Over And Over, and Two More Hearts are available in 30 ml, in the UK and selected European countries.

The orange blossom one always makes me think of johanob 🙂
Assassin sounds interesting but I guess we won’t be getting them in the States.
Hard to say — often stuff does get here, just later. But no idea how “limited edition” these are.
Haha!Damn little black vial of evil goodness!
I LOVED Cocktail, and shall investigate asap!
Busy thunking Dirty today…”this” close!!
I also think it kind of odd that they are all the same size but different prices???
I like that part, it means the price has some relationship to the materials.
ha! that’s true 🙂
Which would mean the orange blossom is the best of the bunch!
I do hope they release these in the US. Their Orange Blossom is a long time favorite of mine.
I like both the concept and the notes of Metamorphosis. Hopefully these make it to the US.
