The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 30 August 2018 7 Comments

Bvlgari's Le Gemme Collection can now be found in limited edition hand blown Murano bottles, limited to 50 bottles for each fragrance. Shown is Amarena: "Amarena Eau de Parfum is inspired by the pink Tourmaline, a symbol of love and sensuality that is reflected in the pairing of two powerful floral scents - rose and tuberose. Master-Perfumer Daniela Andrier carefully pairs the innocence and fresh quality of rose petals with the enveloping richness of addictive tuberose." £1,900 for 100 ml at Harrods.

I’m not usually interested in bottles, but that one is lovely. How much could a fancy bottle like that be, I asked myself as I scrolled down? Oh. OH.

You could book a trip to Venice, stay for a few days and buy a fancy bottle without perfume, for less than the price of THIS bottle ????

This is the most reasonable response to that price tag!

I love those bottles. I would love one in every color…especially the blue and creamy white ones.

And they would look awfully nice in a row :-)

Not sure I approve of £1,900 spray bottles!

I guess the cap could still be glass, at least: the Cartier Heures come in spray bottles with glass caps.
