Thierry Mugler has launched Mystic Aromatic, a new unisex fragrance in the Les Exceptions series.
THE MATERIAL: Fresh green leaves that are both powerful and invigorating. A combination of the precious ingredients; basil, clary sage, thyme, and oregano.
AROMATIC COLLISION: Peru balsam appears by surprise. Originating from the Balsam of Peru – a tree from Central America – its balmy, scented resin was traditionally used for its calming properties. This rich and unexpected Oriental sweetness provides a contrast with the fresh and traditional aromatic notes. The Mediterranean horizon expands towards a mysterious Oriental land. The result: An intense aromatic freshness combined with the warm and enigmatic notes of Perum [sic] balsam.

I have really liked the ones I’ve tried — decent middle ground line and not outrageously priced as these things go.
