Providence Perfume Co Vientiane ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 8 February 2018 14 Comments

Indie natural line Providence Perfume Co has launched Vientiane, a new unisex fragrance.

Vientiane is the capitol of Laos and means city of sandalwood. Vientiane was once known for its abundance of sandalwood trees, hence the name for our new botanical sandalwood based perfume.

Vientiane is a soft sandalwood scent built upon a creamy jasmine rice accord, three types of rare and costly sandalwood, Chinese silk vine and rice paddy herb. A rich, powdery, woody scent.

Providence Perfume Co Vientiane is $45 for a 5 ml rollerball, or $175 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

I’m not sure I have tried any from this house, but gosh that sounds lovely!

Yes this might even merit a blind buy of the small version. Sandalwood-centric sounds fine!

Beautyhabit has the little rollerball too — missed that for the shopping post today.

I do not get along well with sandalwood, but this one sounds really worth of a try.

Sounds great to me. I’ve tried Branch & Vine and Tangerine Thyme which are both lovely fragrances. I do find the bottles quite beautiful.

Ooh, tangerine thyme–got to have it! Gotta!
I used to be able to get lemon thyme ice cream at a favourite restaurant of mine up north in Michigan. It was to die for. What an inspired combination.

This is the PERFECT new scent for my best friend! I will recommend it to her.
I AGREE that bottle is gorgeous. I can just feel the weight of it in my hand.

This sounds right up my alley. I’ve held the bottles, they are beautiful, even the mini rollerballs are very pretty.

This sounds good. It felt like it had been a while between launches. Could be a good one to “blind” split.

Ooh, I’ve loved the other things I’ve tried from this house and would be so curious to smell her take on sandalwood. I do hope someone will split it!
