The most expensive scent in the history of perfume

Posted by Robin on 29 January 2018 7 Comments

Thursday, January 25, Bulgari announced that its luxury fragrance "Opera Prima" -- the most expensive scent in the history of perfume -- has now been sold. The precious bottle, finished with gold leaf and gems including diamonds, was bought by a private client for the princely sum of €200,000.

— You might not remember Opera Prima because it came out in 2014. Read more at Bulgari ‘Opera Prima': world's most expensive perfume sells for €200,000 at Fashion Network.

Oh thank goodness it sold. It’s been sitting on a shelf for 4 years!
    Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Still trying to decide whether to store it in my safe deposit box or let it sit on my bathroom counter.

Maybe the world’s most expensive bottle rather than perfume. Sounds like there was a lot more budget in the packaging than the juice.

But adding — in a way that’s really true of nearly every perfume! Just more so, in this case.
