Givenchy Live Irresistible Blossom Crush ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 18 January 2018 9 Comments

 Live Irrésistible Blossom Crush

Givenchy will launch Live Irrésistible Blossom Crush, a new flanker to 2015's Live Irrésistible, next month.

Live Irrésistible Blossom Crush was developed by perfumer Dominique Ropion. Notes for the floral perfume include rose, peony, musk and cocoa.

Givenchy Live Irrésistible Blossom Crush will be available in 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Toilette..

Update: the description from John Lewis...

Its latest variation, Blossom Crush, is a sparkling and irresistibly charming Eau de Toilette that advocates spontaneity as an asset and freedom as power.

Just like its unpredictable heroine, Live Irrésistible Blossom Crush is an astonishing floral bouquet. It reveals an abundance of fresh, delicate petals of roses and peony with a twist of cocoa bean, the unexpected ingredient which tinges the fragrance with a bittersweet note for an immediate crush.

Well, it had to happen: no Givenchy flanker release in maybe the last 5 minutes?

Ha! And there’s a new Dahlia Divin coming too, and will be surprised if there is not a Gentlemen flanker this year.

does anyone else just want to say “live irresistibly”. is it supposed to be two separate words or is it bad grammar?

It’s because Live Irrésistible was a followup to Very Irrésistible…I guess?

Oh I see, two separate words…still don’t like it!

Yup, it sounds awkward. Which made me think maybe it was an adjective and not a verb?

Yes, Coin-op, now that you mention it, I tend to agree.
I think the new Dahlia flanker is white.

I thought this was the first flanker to Live Irrésistible but there’s at least one more already. one of them I quite liked because there was almond in it that smelled like marzipan, maybe it was the ‘Délicieuse’ version.
