Aerin Hibiscus Palm ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 22 December 2017 8 Comments

Aerin Hibiscus Palm

Aerin will launch Hibiscus Palm, a new fragrance for women, in February. Hibiscus Palm was inspired by 'tropical life' and 'exotic flowers'.

The notes include palm leaf, lotus, hibiscus, tiare, frangipani, coconut milk, vanilla and musk.

Aerin Hibiscus Palm will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum and in a matching Body Cream.

Update: and oops, this is out at Saks Fifth Avenue today, $170 for 100 ml. Their description...

Journey to a palm-fringed, tropical island. Hibiscus Palm captures the island scent of brilliant sunshine on a lush beach. Accords of Lotus Flower and Hibiscus Palm mingle with Ylang and exotic Ginger. Frangipani blends with a heart of fragrant White Blossoms, wrapped in the velvety warmth of Coconut Milk, Vanilla and Musk.

This has potential if it’s not super sweet. And I love the caps on her bottles.

I am guessing it will be related to Bronze Goddess, but more floral? That’s just a guess, though. And see the update above, it is not cheap!

Ouch. That’s out of my price range for a cool bottle cap.

I thought wow, she has raised her prices, but just checked Tangier Vanille (the last in this series) and it was $160 for 100 ml (and $115 for 50 ml) so really she hasn’t raised them all that much.

This is the first of the series to tempt me as well! Hopefully it will show up at the decant sites . . .

I broke out in a rash with the Amber Musk soap and I won’t chance using any of the perfumes as a result. Early on I got Evening Rose in a swap and I actually have not used it on skin. I have to find it and include in the next freebiemeet.

Ouch! But seems unlikely there are any ingredients that are particular to the brand.

I like the musk lotion. Easy one when you just want a clean & warm smell
