Demeter Creme Anglaise & Wisteria ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 12 October 2017 3 Comments

Demeter Crème Anglaise and Wisteria

Demeter has launched Crème Anglaise and Wisteria, the latest additions to their Fragrance Library.

Crème Anglaise ~ "A full, rounded and rich vanilla custard scent, with that classic, sweet French twist. Our Crème Anglaise is a wearable, almost edible, fragrance."

Wisteria ~ "We’ve captured the experience of the living flower, not a perfumed version of the flower. Soft and slightly spicy, this fragrance is unforgettable. A big, classic note updated and treated in the classic Demeter style."

Demeter Crème Anglaise and Wisteria are available in 15, 30 or 120 ml Cologne ($6 - $40).

I wonder if I would be able to smell the difference of Crème Anglais and all the other Demeter vanillas: Cake Batter, Cookie Dough, Icecream, Hawaiian etc.

Then there’s about a dozen vanilla/caramel ones: Angel Food, Dulce de Leche, Sugar Cane, Sticky Toffee Pudding, Marshmallow, Cotton Candy…my eyes are crossing. Better stop.

    Caramel, Condensed Milk, Butterscotch…

Definitely calls for a blind smell test! I do like their milky scents for layering.

I’m a little curious about the wisteria fragrance, I might have to check it out. Most of my Demeter scents end up being room fragrances (not that that’s a bad thing).
