Clive Christian Addictive Arts ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 29 September 2017 7 Comments

Clive Christian Addictive Arts

Luxury niche line Clive Christian will introduce the Addictive Arts collection in October. The six fragrances* are billed as "provocative, decadent and an expression of our human tendency to excess".

A juice known as Jump Up and Kiss Me contains tuberose, mandarin and orange bigarade, while Hedonistic features amber, smoky leather and labdanum. Vision in a Dream has hints of almond, armoise and green galbanum, while Psychedelic has been created from kaffir lime leaf and armoise. Chasing the Dragon is a mix of notes such as ylang-ylang, jasmine and narcissus while Hypnotic has clove, black cherry and cinnamon.

Clive Christian Addictive Arts will debut at Harrods in the UK in October (£525 each for 75 ml). Look for them in the US at Neiman Marcus in November.

* By my count, bringing the brand's total 2017 launches to 19. These are the first to feature the brand's "AddictiveFusion technology".

Really I read this just to see the ridiculous price they’re charging.
Petroleum prices do rise with winter in the Northern Hemisphere!
    I’ll take 10 of each!

Well, they ARE an expression of our human tendency to excess. So they have to charge a lot, right?

EXACTLY. Plus, AddictiveFusion technology does not come cheap.

Absolutely ridiculous price, & I see the Crown Perfumery bottle tops are still being used with no nod to the history…

Ah Clive Christian! I expected at least 4 new scents released at once, and ridiculously high prices. Was not disappointed 🙂 hahaha.
