The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 8 August 2017 8 Comments

Frédéric Malle is appearing in the daily lemming more often than I'd like. But what can you do? The new hand soap sets come with six 50g bars for $90: "We are delighted to introduce a new addition to our home and body lines: purchase our full soap collection and experience different scents in all corners of your home. Scents include Vetiver, Cologne Indelible, En Passant, Magnolia, Iris and a new fragrance, Anterenea. Originally made for his own personal use, with carnation, geranium and sandalwood, Anterenea bears memories of summer days in the Basque Country. Round and compact, like ocean-polished stones, our soaps are infused with perfumes specifically suited to the cosmetic cleanliness of soap itself." You can buy at Neiman Marcus or Saks, or you can order directly from Malle and select the six fragrances you want (there are only six available, so this only matters if you want more than 1 of a particular scent.) There is also a set of three bars for $45. Do bear in mind that these are hand soaps, so they're small. The "regular" 100g bars are available in a set of three (again, you pick the scents) for $90.

Would be incredible in a powder room bathroom! The soap itself could fragrance the bathroom even when not being used. But $90 is a bit extra…

“A bit extra” is putting it mildly. I can promise you that the one FM soap I’ve owned, Vetiver Extraordinaire, will perfume your bathroom beautifully, though.

My goal is to find a bar soap I can make you want to buy. I will not give up.

Soaps NEVER die, girl! That includes shower gels! I am STILL working on a rotation that I bought LAST YEAR around this time! SMALL soaps
& gels, mind you! At least my blouse drawer smells glorious!

No, it isn’t! I assume they borrowed some old copy from somewhere.
