My friend wears the original JA, it smells really good on her. I really dislike the bottle shape of the line.
I don’t much like the bottle shape either, but it’s better in 30 ml and that seems to be all they do now (?)
At least there are no fruit in the notes…
It’s not a very long list of notes. I would not make any assumptions based on it — could be fruit, could be no fruit.
“essence of modern elegance”…”luxurious”…”glamorous”…”head-turning”…”available now at Walmart.” Thanks for the laugh. 🙂
Thank you, I’m glad someone else has the same sick sense of humor I do 🙂
There’s fruit in there. Kohl’s & Fragrantica have the following listed:
Top notes: Pink Lychee, Fresh Sage and Bergamot
Heart notes: Jasmine Sambac, Rose Essential, Orris
Base notes: Vanilla Bean, Patchouli, Tonka Bean, Sandalwood
Tried it today. Thought, “Meh.” Walked out empty handed from my local Kohl’s. The breeze picked up as I walked to the car, and I was softly smacked in the face by a beautiful mix of jasmine, sage, sandalwood and patchouli. Damn, I thought quietly as I got behind the wheel. Drove a mile down the road and turned back around. Bought it. Sitting here with it on my skin after a few hours and still impressed, granted in that “good for a celeb fragrance” kind of way. As if Bvlgari Jasmine Noir & SJP’s Stash had a watered-down baby next to a lychee tree. Lychee is in the air only, not shoved down your throat. Don’t know about that little black dress imagery in press release, but for a summer night out? Yep.
