French niche line Memo has launched Kedu Sesame, a new unisex fragrance. Kedu Sesame is a flanker to 2014's Kedu.
The first perfume to use sesame absolute, Memo's Kedu Sesame is inspired by The Garden Of Java, a plain bordered by a centuries-old volcano. Combining key notes of oil of grapefruit, white musk and roasted sesame with a rose-peony accord, it evokes glossy green palm trees, lotus blossom and temples shrouded in mist.
Memo Kedu Sesame is available now at Harvey Nichols in the UK, £500 for 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

With that price……
Yep.
632.00 at today’s exchange rate. There is absolutely nothing in this scent to warrant such a price. I am personally offended. lol!
I prefer to be personally amused, but it works out to about the same thing 🙂
I liked Kedu but even that was too expensive. They must make tiny batches at this price.
Ditto.
Just want to say there is Sesame (absolute or not) in Givenchy Very Irresistible for Men and I doubt that was the first time it was used.
You are quoting the information provided by Memo, I know, Robin.
The marketing people really delude themselves into thinking that everyone else just fell off the turnip truck.
LOLOLOL. 🙂
Possibly they are saying Kedu was the first to use the absolute? No idea. Not sure why I’d care who was first to use a relatively obscure note 🙂
‘GLOSSY green palm trees’
LOL 😀
