4 from Hilde Soliani ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 25 May 2017 4 Comments

Hilde Soliani Sweet Home, Buon Pranzo, Caaastagna Saalaaata and Ciocochic

Italian niche line Hilde Soliani has launched four new gourmand fragrances: Sweet Home, Buon Pranzo, Caaastagna Saalaaata and Ciocochic.

Sweet Home ~ "Lake Garda [is] the home of Lido 84, a restaurant where Hilde Soliani had a glazed chestnut dessert that has stayed with her to this day, and inspired this delectable scent, a tantalizing blend of warm, earthy chestnut, mouthwatering vanilla, sweet sugar, and, as she says, a little bit of magic. Sweet, rich and sophisticated, Sweet Home is a trip to the Italian lakes that you can take without leaving home."

Buon Pranzo ~ "When the newly elected Pope Francis broke with formal tradition by ending his first Sunday balcony speech with that familiar colloquialism, Hilde decided to immortalize it in scent. And Buon Pranzo is a joyous lunch indeed, a mouthwatering combination of buttery richness and fiery spice, transporting us to a communal table loaded with savory treats, an open invitation to break bread with family and strangers alike."

Caaastagna Saalaaata ~ "On a visit to the Calabrian mountains, Hilde Soliani witnessed the local farmers roasting chestnuts with a variety of locally foraged herbs and wood. The sweet, earthy aroma, combined with the breathtaking views from the mountains to the sea, filled her with a sense of free and lightness that never left her. In this spirit, Castagna Salata was born, a fragrance of Mediterranean meadows, with the deep appeal of warm roasted chestnut, contrasted with sharp sea salt, a complex bouquet of herbs, and the rich ozone of the ocean... "

Ciocochic ~ "With her inimitable flair for adding subtle sophistication to gourmand scents, Hilde deftly tempers her chocolate- which is rich, deep and dark- with a perfect flickering of sea salt, adding a world of savory contrast. This is chocolate for grownups, as sensual as it is mouthwatering. We couldn't ask for anything more. "

Hilde Soliani Sweet Home, Buon Pranzo, Caaastagna Saalaaata and Ciocochic can be found now at Luckyscent, $160 each for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Yum! Chestnuts, not a common note, in 2 perfumes out of four! I must hav missed the reasoning for stretching out vowels.

I missed the reasoning too! No idea. But Sweet Home sounds great.

I really want to try Sweet Home- one of my favorite scents is Hilde Soliani Cristina, which is also my only Hilde Soliani. But it reminds me of the smell of the roasted nut vendors in the autumn.
So Hilde Soliani fragrances with actual nutty notes? Sign me up.
