More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US. Today's post includes special edition bottles from Sisley, Ralph Lauren, Yves Rocher and Jo Malone, plus a new Extrait concentration of Maison Francis Kurkdjian Oud Satin Mood.
From Sisley, the latest collector bottle of Eau de Soir: "The 2017 edition of this eau de parfum comes in a black lacquered bottle and is punctuated with pretty star prints in commemoration of the label’s late founder, Hubert d’Ornano." 100 ml Eau de Parfum for £195, at Selfridges in the UK.
From Ralph Lauren, Polo Blue Eau de Parfum in the Silver Cup Collector's Edition: "Discover the iconic Polo Blue Eau de Parfum, now turned into the Silver Cup Collector's Edition. Inspired by the sleek lines and flawless craftsmanship of a winner’s sparkling silver cup, this limited-edition Collector's bottle was designed to embody the spirit of sportsmanship and the celebration of victory." $102 for 125 ml at Bloomingdales.
From Yves Rocher, Comme Une Evidence Flacon Collector, available at Yves Rocher in France, in 50 ml Eau de Parfum.
The Jo Malone Bridal Lace collection is not limited edition, and it's not really new — it's been around since 2015, so this is a reminder rather than an announcement (I was reminded because John Lewis in the UK recently got the entire set in stock.) Available in 3 lace patterns and 10 fragrances, in limited distribution (and possibly UK only). In 100 ml, £95 to £115.
From Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Oud Satin Mood in a new Extrait concentration: "This extrait de parfum whisks away the senses on an Oriental voyage with exceptional ingredients reflecting the riches of the region, such as Turkish rose. The star of this floral and woody fragrance is natural agarwood (oud) from Laos, a rare and precious ingredient in the world of perfume. This is shrouded in Bulgarian rose essence and Turkish rose absolute, matched with notes of Siam benzoin, violet and vanilla." $375 for 70 ml.
That Eau de Soir bottle makes me vaguely anxious.
I am not loving it either — not sure that design works well with the classical cap.
