Givenchy Rose Ardente ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 31 March 2017 8 Comments

Givenchy Rose Ardente

Givenchy has launched Rose Ardente, the eleventh addition to the luxury L'Atelier de Givenchy collection. Rose Ardente follows last year's Iris Harmonique.

Notes for the unisex spicy floral chypre include rose, patchouli, honey, amber and vanilla.

Givenchy Rose Ardente is available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum, £150.

Update: The description from Neiman Marcus, where Rose Ardente is $235 ~ "A fiery and provocative Floral Spicy fragrance for a confident and fearless allure. Furs and leathers, tinted in crimson, evolve into radically dominant silhouettes, commanding attention and respect. Experience a fiery and provocative Floral Spicy fragrance. The intoxicating fragility of Black Caviar Rose, the intense blaze of Chili Pepper, the obscure palpitations of Patchouli."

Stamina. Or, my strategy, which I apply to quite a few brands: ignore.

Including these three, 50 launches in the last five years alone. It’s mad.

It is sort of astonishing. But I am not at all sure if they’re the worst.

I like this particular luxury line, but I’m starting to fall behind with all the new releases! Slow down, everyone. Especially you, Byredo.

Gosh, I think they already did oud? But can’t remember and too lazy to look :-)
