You’ve kissed a kitten’s nose

Posted by Robin on 10 March 2017 7 Comments

Adding to their endless line of adorable cat-adorned goods, Felissimo is now rolling out a lip gloss that will not only give your lips a tint of color and shine, but leave them feeling just as if you’ve kissed a kitten’s nose. The “Neko no hana ni kisu shita mitai – hinyari ohana” lip gloss, which literally translates to “It’s like I’ve just kissed a cat’s nose – a pleasantly cool nose”, claims it recreates the cool, damp feeling a cat’s nose leaves after a “kitty kiss” nose-bump has been bestowed upon you.

— The new lip gloss features the "slightly sweet aroma of a bowl of milk set out for little kittens"; read more at “Kitten-milk scented” lip gloss promises to make you feel like you’ve just kissed a cat’s nose at RocketNews24.

Hmmm…imagines lab technicians developing this product:
Lab tech 1: *kisses kitten nose and swears loudly*
Lab tech 2: *applies first aid to Lab tech 1*
Lab tech 1: *applies lip gloss* hmm…no…no. Kitten noses are softer and more velvety.
Lab tech 3: *scribbles furiously on notepad*

Well, thank gawd they’ve not scented it with cat breath. Not sure about milk scented lip balm, though.
Truthfully, I think my usual reaction to the feeling of damp kitty nose is, “yuck, damp cat boogers” and the regret that I didn’t go for the ears or forehead.

Oh, I think if they’d scented it with kitty breath it would find takers!

I’m a crazy cat person, obviously, but I get enough cat breath on a daily basis to tide me over. It is a cute idea, though, and I secretly sorta want one because cat noses ARE freakin’ adorable.

Ok, I obviously don’t need this, but I can’t think of anything cuter than a kitty nose bump, and I love the idea of having a constant reminder of it. I even like milky scents, so this is oddly appealing to me.

This is adorable. Nose bumps and head bumps from cats are the best things.

    Also,

The kitty overlords seem to be making inroads.
