The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 6 March 2017 6 Comments

Indie botanical line Roxana Illuminated Perfume's new Jasmine Hydrosol: "This jasmine sambac hydrosol has been artisan distilled within handblown glass alembics. The very special elixir has a delicate, ethereal quality which makes one feel as if you are attending a fairy feast with Queen Mab or with the Elves of Rivendell. Hydrosols may be used as an aromatic mist for the complexion, as a spritz into water as a flower tonic or used for culinary delights such as the Persians use of rose water." $30 for 30 ml at Illuminated Perfume.

Recently I have really gotten into using hydrosols on my face. Currently using rose (incredibly beautiful) and chamomile. I buy mine from AV-AT.com (no affiliation) – they were recommended ages ago by some of the Perfumers Guild folks. Great quality and prices.

      Thanks!

I used to use a rose hydrosol spray most days, but sort of gave it up for the rose hydrosol and frankincense gels from Garden of Wisdom. This sounded lovely, though, and especially since it’s food grade.

Hi Robin! Thanks so much for posting about this extra-ordinary hydrosol, so grateful to you for sharing. It is truly a divine elixir, I’ll be sharing it at the perfumery in Los Angeles this Saturday, cheers.
