Cartier Baiser Fou ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 2 December 2016 9 Comments

Cartier Baiser Fou

Cartier will launch Baiser Fou, the second in the Baiser series that started with 2011's Baiser Volé.

Baiser Fou was developed by perfumer Mathilde Laurent. The floral fragrance centers on orchids, and was inspired by "lipstick kisses".

Cartier Baiser Fou will debut in March in 75 ml (and possibly other sizes as well).

Update: Baiser Fou features "accents of white chocolate to evoke the scent of a lipstick".  (via diarydirectory)

I adore BV, but admit this one does not sound all that appealing to me. Will of course hope to be proven wrong!

Lipstick kisses – does that mean it slides off too? ;-) I’m sure I’ll be happy to smell this one!

I love anything cosmetic inspired, and orchid notes, so am very excited to try this one!

Cartier gets interesting (L’Envol) then returns to hum-drum-dilutes…Other than the Orchids from Ford, the genre doesn’t grab me.I have to confess:I have NO idea what the hell a real orchid smells like….

Had to look it up to be sure, but Baiser Fou means “crazy kiss” in French. Cute name and a gorgeous bottle. Hope I get to sniff it sometime.
