Roberto Cavalli Gold Collection

Roberto Cavalli has launched the Roberto Cavalli Gold Collection, six new unisex fragrances (Baroque Musk, Divine Oud, Golden Amber, Royal Iris, Sumptuous Rose and Supreme Sandal) representing "a baroque and luxurious vision of the Italian dolce vita".

Baroque Musk ~ "warm and carnal", with neroli and ylang ylang.

Divine Oud ~ "luxurious and complex", with oud, rose, raspberry and violet.

Golden Amber  ~ "daring", with pear, coriander, amber and vanilla.

Royal Iris ~ powdery, with iris and leather.

Sumptuous Rose ~ with rose, honey and sandalwood.

Supreme Sandal ~ a woody oriental with sandalwood, honey, vanilla and saffron.

Roberto Cavalli Gold Collection Baroque Musk, Divine Oud, Golden Amber, Royal Iris, Sumptuous Rose and Supreme Sandal are AED990 (about $270) each, size and concentration unknown.

I saw that, the Magic Collection. “Dirty Trick” with iris and ink accord -> I will need to smell that.

Noooo! I’m really longing for some genuine creativity. This list of notes sounds recycled and dumbed down and generic. Why are they scared to do something authentic?

I admit I do not try all that many RC fragrances, but doesn’t seem like a likely brand for genuine creativity in the perfume arena.
