A Lab On Fire will launch Messy Sexy Just Rolled Out of Bed, a new fragrance, in October.
With a short poem Mr. Kusubayashi celebrates the most intrinsic essence of the new and intense fragrance and image that is the diva of divas, Marilyn Monroe, to embody the olfactory moment with an image reminiscent of the famous photographs of the actress in bed, wrapped in sheets, immortalized by Douglas Kirkland in 1961.
Simple, clean sunlight. Warmth from the sheets wrapped between my legs. Warmth from you lingers on my skin. I just rolled out of bed. The rest of the day, the night—what we can do together—depends on how the sun warms my body, how close I allow you to get, how we touch.
Carlos Kusubayashi adds “The pictures of Marilyn are the quintessence of being sexy, a way of entering into the intimacy of the great diva full of hopeful innocence. There is something magically vulnerable in these photos, the light, the atmosphere… And this is the initial inspiration which I asked the nose Dominique Ropion to capture in a bottle”.
The notes feature bergamot, peach blossom, rose, heliotrope, musk, cashmeran, toffee, amber, sandalwood, vanilla and tonka bean.
A Lab On Fire Messy Sexy Just Rolled Out of Bed will be available in 60 ml.

Love the name! Hope the fragrance is as good
I hope it’s good too!
I’m always on the lookout for a good wearable comfort/skin scent, so I’ll definitely give this one a sniff. Sounds rather yummy. The name seems a bit cumbersome to me.
It definitely needs to go by a nickname. Messy Sexy should be sufficient.
I completely agree. A perfume should have a short and snappy name not a long cumbersome one.
“Morning Breath” is more realistic at my house, but that’s just me…..LOL!!! 🙂
LOL! So true for me, too! Morning breath, runny eyes and hair in a satin cap!
I don’t have a satin cap. My hair looks like Gene Simmons, in the morning!
Morning Breath is not a bad name for a perfume!
Sitting on my bed, just woken up,I cannot imagine THIS look to be bottled…lol.
