Indie brand Slumberhouse has launched New Sibet, a new unisex fragrance.
Empires upon empires upon empires. Empresses and embassies and emissaries. Sun goes down. No more games.
The notes include carnation, mint, ash, leather, iris, cistus, goat fur and moss.
Slumberhouse New Sibet is available now at Twisted Lily, 30 ml Parfum for $160.

I paused at mint, but had to read on and then stopped dead in my tracks at goat fur.
Anya’s Garden, an all-natural perfume company, uses tinctured goat hair in Pan so it’s been used at least once before
Knowing it’s from Seattle I always read it as “Lumberhouse” and expect some variation on tree-filled outdoorsiness.
Or was it Portland? Still lots of trees…
Lumberhouse! Now we need a brand with that name.
I just got an email from Fumerie saying that they have this one in stock already. They describe it as having a creamy orris top note, like a fresh carrot, and a “distinctly vintage” feel. They failed to mention the goat fur. . .
