Annick Goutal Tenue de Soiree ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 23 June 2016 18 Comments

Annick Goutal Tenue de Soirée

Annick Goutal will launch Tenue de Soirée, a new fragrance for women. The bottle was inspired by the color of the sky at dusk.

Notes for the gourmand chypre include iris and patchouli.

Annick Goutal Tenue de Soirée will debut in October; I will update with sizes and concentration when I can.

That’s the wrong color for the sky at dusk…but I like the puff! Proportionally it looks silly on that bottle, but I wouldn’t mind putting it on my purse 🙂

I cannot make up my mind. Love the color even if it’s wrong, but like the classic AG bottle and wish they’d just stuck a pompom on that.

I agree that something about it looks off, but I also love it for being gaudy that way.

Is that a purple fuzzy moon hanging in the dusky sky? 😉

Not really a fan…I think the bottle looks cheap 🙁

    Aha, so *that’s* where Angela’s powder-puff went!

Well, I always love to try a Goutal, but it seems like a bizarre departure. I will hug my wine and purple Mandragore and MP bottles to my chest and wonder why not a colored ribbed bottle for this one too?

They seem to be working through a change lately. We’ll see where they end up.

the bottle looks pretty much like the one of the home sprays. With a ponpon.
Everybody was criticizing DKNY and their 5th apple of the year, but Annick is a close follower: Rose Ponpon, Rose Oud (saw it today on their website, never read about it …) and now Tenue de Soirée…

Wow, I did not know about Rose Oud at all — thanks, will announce it.

But also, was not criticizing the total number of DKNY scents this year, 5 is not even close to bad in comparison to some brands. But 5 flankers for one scent — THAT is a bit much.

I loved the old bottles. The new bottle doesn’t seem very special but the color is nice.

Pompoms? Isn’t that more Ariana Grande than Annick Goutal? I will reserve judgement til I smell it but superficially I don’t think I like the way this may be going…

I am okay with the bottle and really like the color, but my first thought was what you said – what the heck? Looks like Ariana rather than Annick. They need to lose the pompon.
