A video from Dior about Château de La Colle Noire, Christian Dior's vacation property in Provence from 1951 until his death in 1957. It was sold in 1958, then the Dior brand purchased it in 2013, and began restoration efforts on the nine-bedroom house and the extensive gardens. It was also the inspiration for the new La Colle Noir fragrance.

My wish is that this is not all hyperbole and that Dior can restore it’s reputation as one of the great houses of fragrance.
Well that’s dreaming big 🙂
I don’t understand these Dior and Chanel exclusives. It’s like Christian Dior spent a long weekend at this Chateau and they create a perfume out it.
I do like Misia fragrance, second to No5 parfum, but YSL and Dior exclusives haven’t quite impressed me so far.
They make money and allow the mainstream brands to compete with niche brands. Agree, most of them are not impressive. I do think Chanel and Hermes have done a good job with their collections. Have not tried most of the Diors because have not heard anything fantastic about them and did not adore the one I tried, and have sort of given up on the Armani Prives.
