Kate Spade Live Colorfully Sunshine ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 2 March 2016 6 Comments

Kate Spade Live Colorfully Sunshine

Kate Spade has launched Live Colorfully Sunshine, a new fragrance for women. Live Colorfully Sunshine is a flanker to 2013's Live Colorfully.

Live Colorfully Sunshine Eau de Parfum spray is a lighter weight, extra-refreshing edition of Live Colorfully by Kate Spade New York, which will surprise and delight with its charming sophistication. Layers of mandarin, water lily, musk and Tahitian vanilla dance upon the skin like light on a crystal. A sophisticated (and slightly mischievous) reminder to constantly step into the world of color around you.

Additional notes include violet leaves, bergamot, neroli, peony, orange blossom, magnolia, blonde woods, white musk and honey.

Kate Spade Live Colorfully Sunshine is available now at Ulta, in 100 ml Eau de Parfum and in a 10 ml rollerball.

The original lasted 4 months in the store I work at and was discontinued from the retailer. I’m sure it has it’s following, but I don’t have high hopes for this one if it’s anything similar to the original.

A number of stores are still selling it, but yes, it did not take the world by storm, and neither did Walking on Air (which will also get a Sunshine flanker).

I actually thought her first scent (Kate Spade in 2003) was very nice. It was a white floral with an emphasis on honeysuckle. I bought it as a gift for a niece who loved it. I wish that one were still being made. Don’t understand why it was discontinued.

I assume it did not do well, and also the company has switched licenses to Elizabeth Arden since then (can’t remember now who originally held the license).

I’m sure you’re right. I just found it far more impressive than these newer scents. Of course, I sniffed Walking on Air after sniffing Diorissimo and Guerlain Muguet; so it was bound to suffer in comparison.

I’m sure you’re right! Impressive doesn’t always sell better though, as we all know :-)
