Porsche Design Palladium ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 8 September 2015 7 Comments

Porsche Design Palladium

The Porsche Design Group has launched Palladium, a new fragrance for men.

The elements at play: Porsche Design Palladium. A powerful, modern fragrance combining a refreshing citrus note with aromatic wood nuances. Presented in a hi-tech flacon with a puristic design that will win hearts with its timeless, functional look.

The notes include mandarin, cardamom, polygonum,* lavender, geranium, ozone, cedar, patchouli and amber.

Porsche Design Palladium is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

(quote via porsche-design.us, additional information via cosmoty.de)

* I am pretty sure they mean polygonum odoratum, aka Vietnamese cilanto.

Robin, Polygonum is not related to this plant, it’ s a new molecule (i believe from givaudan), again at first used in a Natura fragrance (#Urbano Recria). I’m finding curious to see the big companies testing some new molecules in brazillian mainstream creations. I found in the press release that it’s considered an aldehyde. I’m pretty sure it’s a marine aldehyde…

Interesting, thanks. There are more references to polygonum here than I’d remembered — Etro Rajasthan, Gianfranco Ferre In The Mood for Love (where it is called a ‘natural aldehyde’), Cartier X L’Heure Folle.

I saw the same reference, natural aldehyde too, which i found odd considering that there are plenty of natural aldehydes….
