I purchased the compassionate one without trying it first. It is very similar to Laura Mercier Eau Gormande Vanille, which I love. The Compassionate didn’t have as deep of a vanilla smell and also, lasted what seemed to be only minutes on me. I ended up returning it.

I tried “Grateful,” the watery accord one at Sephora this weekend. While Philosophy fragrances by and large, are pretty lame, I thought this one was sort of pretty.

Good to know. I have not found anything from the brand I’ve loved either, but haven’t tried them all.

I like the original Amazing Grace and Pure Grace, but they last 35 minutes on my skin. I have some Pure Grace that I wear to bed from time to time. The only one that really appeals to me is the Expressive one, since I am on an orange blossom kick, but I doubt I would buy it.

I bought Empowered and am enjoying it. I can detect it lightly throughout the day which is nice. I do understand the comments above and think a bit more oomph would be enjoyable but maybe they are light as they are for layering per the promo line listed. :)

I’m curious about these. I haven’t bought a philosophy fragrance in forever, and these are making me want to sniff them.
