This is really cute, and I’m looking forward to trying the fragrance, too. Alaia’s look as a fashion brand has never been quite my cup of tea, but in a way I can’t help but admire a designer who is only now deciding to release a fragrance after more than thirty years in the business, and who is known for his commitment to design rather than to sales. (He has, to my knowledge, rarely advertised, and for the last decade or so has refused outright to do so.) So hopefully his fragrance will be crafted with the same quality and tradition of excellence in craftsmanship that his clothes are.
It’s adorable. The fragrance sounds very blah, but hopefully it will better than it sounds.
It is indeed blah. Tried it as I was dashing through CDG earlier today – SAs claim it was an ‘exclusive’ but me thinks not. Anywho, my read is that it smells like Narciso Rodriguez (black bottle) so if you have that, you don’t need this. 🙁
Good to know, and figures. Many thanks.
