Pierre Guillaume of French niche line Parfumerie Générale has launched Mojito Chypre, a new addition to the Croisière Collection.
A beach party… from Ibiza to Miami
Pierre Guillaume revisits a historical fragrance family by boldly redrawing its outlines to offer a modern, hybrid composition.
Though the scent is built around classic chypre ingredients – patchouli, vetiver, labdanum, vanilla and oak moss --, its fruity aromatic accord adds an offbeat, playful touch.
Lime, fresh mint, strawberry aldehyde and rum absolute make up an explosive, exhilarating mojito accord that conjures the atmosphere of beach parties and summer celebrations.
As the scent quiets down, the chypre structure asserts itself with warm woods and sensual moss.
Parfumerie Generale / Pierre Guillaume Mojito Chypre is available now at the brand website, in 50 or 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I tend to like his work though a gourmand chypre seems a little mind-twisting. Still, I know I’ll sample it eventually
Please report back when you do, inquiring mind want to know!
There are tons of fruity chypres though, and this just adds rum & sugar 🙂
There are worse things than rum and a little sugar…(like way too much sugar, but I assume this has been made for adults…)
Worse than rum and sugar: strawberry aldehyde 😉
yes, that is definitely a worse thing! LOL!
I must admit this one really has me excited to try
Hope you’ll like it!
