Tauerville Vetiver & Petitgrain Splash ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 29 May 2015 14 Comments

Tauerville Vetiver & Petitgrain Splash

Andy Tauer's Tauerville brand has launched Vetiver & Petitgrain Splash, a new water-based summer fragrance spray.

A water based scent, great for your body, home or linen. All natural, with SPRAY, in splash concentration.

Details: 2.5% all natural fragrance, with sparkling freshness from citrus essential oil (petitgrain), a dash of sensuality by orange blossom absolute, and an elegant vetiver that is a perfume in itself.

Vetiver&Petitgrain splash contains a food grade emulsifier and water.

Tauerville Vetiver & Petitgrain Splash is available in 100 ml, CHF26 (about $27). It can be purchased now at the Tauerville website, Switzerland or US sales only.

This sounds nice but it bothers me that it’s called splash but it’s in a spray bottle. It should be vetiver and petitgrain spray, right? How’s that for nitpicky?

I admit, this confuses me a bit as well.

Vetiver, petigrain, orange blossom by Tauer? Sounds good to me, especially if I end up able to bring it with me on a tentative vacation to the NJ shore this July.

Something “Splash” sounds like a Bath & Body Works product. I feel a 100 mL sample coming my way because it is the perfumista equivalent of free.

This is a super late comment, but my bottle is here. I blew through an on sale 8mL decant, and loved this. It is my favorite Tauer scent, ever. Very nice longevity for a body splash (which comes a a spray). The vetiver is clean classic scent, used here for soaps and sachets. (Mr. Tauer, if you read this, make a soap version!) I wish it were more widely distributed. FYI, it was about $27 USD directly from the Tauerville website (no affiliation), with the current exchange rate. (Totes worth it, as teenagers would say) Be well.
