Azzedine Alaïa will launch Alaïa Paris in June. The designer's debut fragrance, created under a license with Beauté Prestige International, was inspired by a childhood memory of his grandmother "throwing cold water on the sun-scorched walls in Tunisia."
Alaïa Paris was developed by perfumer Marie Salamagne; the notes include pink pepper, freesia, peony, animalic notes and musk.
Alaïa Paris by Azzedine Alaïa will be available in 100 ml, €125.

Update: "Above all, Mr Alaia did not want to be able to recognise a single ingredient individually. Every time we were able to isolate an ingredient, we had to change something. In particular he didn't want to be able to recognise any flowers, and definitely not white flowers." Marie Salamagne in Vogue UK.
I see that no one haven’t comment on this one :O I adore the bottle…but the notes sounds a bit..meh, to me..I have heard that is is a cross between L’eau D’issey and the first Narcisso fragrance. I dunno what I feel about that 😀
The notes sound VERY meh. And if it is indeed a cross between Narciso & L’Eau d’Issey, that will be meh too. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
I do too. I hope it will be available pretty much everywhere soon, so we can go sniff 🙂 But my hopes for this, isn’t really that high..cute bottle tho 🙂
I just tried it and it’s nice… definitely worth a try. I’m going to take my sample on holiday for a few days, this one just puts me in a good mood. Also the tester card is gorgeous, lazer cut white card and a beige ribbon.
