Posted by Robin on 19 May 2015 7 Comments

Shay & Blue Framboise Noire

UK-based niche line Shay & Blue will launch Framboise Noire, a new woody fragrance inspired by black raspberries, in September.

The notes feature black raspberry, red berries, iris pallida, white oud, musk and black woods.

Shay & Blue Framboise Noire will be available in 30 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I do love a not too sweet raspberry note. So if I ever see a bottle of this, I’ ll give it a try.

Everything else has a color, but the musk is apparently not the dreaded White musk. :-) I’d sniff this if I had a chance….

Well, maybe. I would not bank on it…

I love Chambord, the black raspberry liqueur – straight with ice, or topped up with prosecco/cava, or even over premium vanilla ice cream – but I don’t know that I’d like to smell of it! If I ever see it, though, I’ll have a sniff.

Should have checked prior to my original comment – they’re London-based (for a change) – woohoo! & in Marylebone, no less, so I feel a visit coming on during my usual Dec trip & given the location I can hit Fresh’s London shop too.

Lucky you! Most of the range looks really interesting and they come in the right sizes.
