Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2015, part 8

Posted by Robin on 2 April 2015 5 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US. Today's post includes collector bottles from Viktor & Rolf, Lalique and Lacoste, plus a new balm format from Le Labo.

Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Anniversary edition

From Viktor & Rolf, a collector edition of Bonbon: "Join Viktor & Rolf in celebrating the first anniversary of BONBON. This sparkling limited edition bottle is positively radiant. Thousands of pink sparkles delicately enhance the beautiful pink gradient color of the bottle for a dazzling effect. A must-have limited edition, only 500 pieces exist worldwide. BONBON is a timeless sensation inviting a pure and absolute pursuit of pleasure. It is an haute confection that fuels desire through a scent so irresistible, it is nearly edible: a delicious olfactory dessert composed of juicy caramelized fruits, sun drenched flowers and sweet creamy woods that create a delightful self-indulgent experience." In 50 ml Eau de Parfum, $120 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Living Lalique crystal edition

From Lalique, crystal editions of the new Living Lalique fragrance. Shown is a special crystal edition with gold leaf accents (120 ml for £9500), but you can get it without the gold for less (120 ml for £1000). (via athena-and-co)

Lacoste Live Raymond Pettibon Collector's Edition

From Lacoste, the Raymond Pettibon Collector's Edition of Lacoste Live, designed by artist Raymond Pettibon. In 100 ml Eau de Toilette, available for pre-order at The Fragrance Shop in the UK.

Le Labo perfumed balms

From Le Labo, a new formula for their alcohol-free perfume balms: "Le Labo is proud to introduce its much adored perfumed Balm's replacement - the "Liquid Balm". This new travel-friendly, alcohol-free perfume rollerball glass vial can be used as an olfactive marker, to roll on your skin or someone else's your favorite Le Labo perfume. Its formula is obviously vegan (based on botanical safflower oil) but its effects are not..." $85 each at Le Labo.

I’m not sure what “Its formula is obviously vegan…but its effects are not” means, but I laughed out loud. Excuse me, I’m feeling the sudden urge to eat an egg…

LOL! Yeah, not sure eating an egg is exactly what they had in mind.

idk what they meant either…….maybe that you will want to eat someone’s arm if they wore this, it smells that good. Cannibalism is quite the jump from being Vegan.
