L’Occitane Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 25 March 2015 9 Comments

L'Occitane Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc

L'Occitane has launched Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc, the latest addition to the brand's La Collection de Grasse.

Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc Eau de toilette is a truly precious and unexpected fragrance from La Collection de Grasse. It blends white iris from the Mediterranean contrasting its evanescent sweetness with the intensity of the blue Iris Pallida from Grasse.

La Collection de Grasse celebrates the fragrant know-how of this French Provençal town by bringing together precious raw materials from close and distant lands.

The notes feature blackcurrant, citrus, iris, ylang-ylang, fig milk, peach, cedar and white musk.

L'Occitane Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc is available in 75 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching body products.

It was SOTD today!I got a dabber sample from the shop yesterday.Nice enough, but I wanted MORE!lol! There is a blast of rooty iris, but it’s very fleeting.I have Iris Silver Mist, but that’s probably an unfair comparison…

Oh, so good to know, thanks! No, not expecting ISM, but is it figgy? Creamy?

I’m Not that well-versed in identifying notes,Robin!Lol.But I do think if you want creamy, with a prominent fig-note,it will disappoint you.

Oh, do not necessarily want those things, just curious to hear what it’s like. I will give it a shot, thanks!

I have yet to find quite the right L’Occitane perfume, although I do like their bath products…
