Cerruti 1881 Edition Blanche ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 9 March 2015 2 Comments

 Cerruti 1881 Edition Blanche

Cerruti has launched Cerruti 1881 Edition Blanche, a new duo of flankers to 1990's Cerruti 1881 Pour Homme and 1995's Cerruti 1881 Pour Femme.

Cerruti 1881 Edition Blanche Pour Homme (above right) ~ "To celebrate twenty-five years since CERRUTI 1881 Pour Homme was created, the Edition Blanche reinterprets the original score, offering a fresh, modern vision that respects CERRUTI’s timeless elegance, authenticity and tradition. Airy yet reassuring, CERRUTI 1881 Edition Blanche hugs the skin like a freshly ironed white shirt." An aromatic fougère developed by perfumer Lucas Sieuzac, with mandarin, bergamot, mint, lavender, rosemary, fig, amber woods, oakmoss, cedar and patchouli. In 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

Cerruti 1881 Edition Blanche Pour Femme (above left) ~ "20 years after the creation of CERRUTI 1881 Pour Femme, CERRUTI 1881 Edition Blanche reinterprets the original story of this classic scent based on mimosa blossom. With the same authenticity and incredibly feminine delicacy, CERRUTI 1881 Edition Blanche pulses with a springtime breeze, in a modern and luminous fragrance." A powdery floral developed by perfumer Annick Menardo, with bergamot, blackcurrant, mimosa, heliotrope, violet leaves, vanilla and white musk. In 50 ml Eau de Toilette.

There’s a noticeable trend towards ‘white’ isn’t there? Habanita, Aromatics Elixir, and now this. Still, anything by Annick Mernardo has to have everyone’s full attention.
