Italian niche line O'Driù has launched Captivus, a new limited edition unisex fragrance.
Opening with a eye-widening burst of “super lavender” reminiscent of past O’driu favorites, Captivus expands on that sense of liberation with an impossibly bright, fresh outdoor note of grass and a tantalizing whiff of sweet florals, ylang ylang and (we think) immortelle, as if you had floated up past the prison walls and over an endless field of flowers. As you continue to float towards some faraway coastline, the air becomes salty and redolent with wild jasmine, until a base of rich, savory dried seaweed confirms your escape out above the ocean.
O'Driù Captivus is available now at Luckyscent, $350 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

I don’t know if I would like the perfume (and I haven’t tried anything from ODriu before), but that is a very cool and eye-catching bottle!
Agree — fabulous bottle, although offhand wouldn’t think it held perfume. Maybe a small batch liquor of some kind?
