L’Occitane Fleurs de Cerisier L’Eau ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 2 February 2015 6 Comments

L'Occitane Fleurs de Cerisier L'Eau

L’Occitane has launched Fleurs de Cerisier L'Eau, their annual spring cherry blossom fragrance. Last year's model was Cerisier Rouge.

Spring is here! This eau de toilette reveals the notes of the very first cherry blossoms in a fresh and fruity fragrance.

Made with a cherry extract from the Luberon region of Provence, plentiful with cherry tree orchards. As spring awakens, sunrays illuminate their white flowers with pink hues, and a light breeze carries their fresh and delicate scent.

The notes include lemon, blackcurrant, watermelon, cherry blossom, cherry, rose, violet, woods and musk.

L'Occitane Fleurs de Cerisier L'Eau is a limited edition. It is available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette ($45) and in a variety of bath and body products.

I could’ve sworn I left a comment/rant on that cerisier rouge posting. It must have been inflammatory and/or contained foul language lol.

Anyway, they need to get out of the cherry rut. I think they did a plum once. There are other blossoms out there you know!

Or you just ranted in your head, LOL? But if it had actual foul language then yes, it got axed :-)

My fingers may have slipped. They had it priced at 65 dollars here in Canada.

I smelled this yesterday. It’s not bad but it’s nothing special either. When I asked if it’s a new fragrance, the SA put on dramatic airs and said “It’s my new favorite and I am wearing it loud and proud.”

That’s good. I feel nervous about cherry notes. I’d be afraid the fragrance would smell like a liquefied Luden’s cough drop.
