Nina Ricci will launch L’Extase, a new fragrance for women, in March. L'Extase will be fronted by Laetitia Casta; the tag line is “Liberate your fantasies”.
The musky floriental was developed by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. Notes include white petals, roses, pink pepper, benzoin, Virginia cedar, musk and amber.
Nina Ricci L’Extase will be available in 30, 50 and 80 ml Eau de Parfum.

Francis Kurkdjian + 30ml bottle = worth a sniff
Agree. Wish Nina Ricci had regular distribution in the US.
I thought that too; I do really well with FK’s “ladylike” florals. And I sort of like the bottle.
This sounds so pretty!
I am interested 🙂
Pink Pepper is haunting me 😛
No escape!
I sort of like pink pepper…lol:).
Wish they were more specific on the white petals..are they jasmine, gardenia or tuberose? Or all? Guess one needs to sniff to find out. This sounds good, depending on what the white petals are.
This looks like an upswing for the Ricci brand. Nina was quite popular, i believe, But this looks more like it belongs to the brand.
Nina Ricci is showing fashion collections again with a new designer. Looks very lovely and very spendy. They have to sell alot of perfume to pay for it all lol. This looks nice and will sniff if I see it. We tend to get Ricci fragrances here in Canada.
First off, I love the bottle. Second, I love the talented Francis Kurkdjian. Nina Ricci’s L’air de Temps was one of the first perfumes I ever had, so I am a bit partial to her fragrances. Sounds very pretty.
Kurkdjian being involved means this is already a Must Own! Sounds Quite Lovely and that Bottle… #LUSTING! ;-D Looking forward to this with baited breath!
Had a chance to smell this sprayed on a strip while dashing through a duty-free shop and darn it if this thing isn’t beautiful. Comes off as a sultry floral, warmed with a beautifully done amber in the base. Fans of the first Narciso Rodrigues (black bottle) give this a go. Not smell a-likes (L’Extase didn’t make my nose instantly close up or radiate nearly as much) and it feels more carefully put together, if that makes sense.
An another note, Puig seems to have put a great deal of money into this thing – into the juice’s formula and the marketing (the ads are all over French TV and print). If the line were more widely accessible in the states, I’d wager this would do very well. Bottle feels great in the hand as well (heavy glass).
