Actor Colin Farrell in the photo shoot for Dolce & Gabbana Intenso. Mr. Farrell "represents with intensity the new generation of Dolce&Gabbana men: elegant, modern and determinated [sic]". Or he's just bored, it's hard to tell.

I couldn’t even make it through the whole video. He’s clearly bored, but in a pretentious bored way that’s completely cringe-worthy. Also, where the hell are that man’s eyes? All I see are furry brows and little squinty lines that look like they could be eyes, but I’m not entirely certain.
I just clicked back onto the SOTD thread and realized the penguin in that photo is more suited to the description of this fragrance than bored Colin. That penguin is elegant and definitely looks determined.
And the penguin knows how to sit on a rock with style and attitude.
Agree on cringe-worthy. He looks like he’s sulking about something.
I think you can’t see his eyes because he needs sunglasses.
Sure he’s bored!
But I would be too if I was a rich, successful, “mature” movie star having to sit on a rock for a silly fragrance commercial (Mr. Farrell would probably add a few well placed “F” bombs in there).
At least it’s refreshing to see a commercial for a men’s fragrance that doesn’t involved a near naked, bulged out, 18 inch waisted, waxed to death, barely out of his teenage years model… especially from D&G
They’re saving the abs for the next Light Blue commercial 😉
Looks like he needs an espress-o rather than some Intenso. Hoho.
But seriously, I imagine this is how he looked when reading the script of the Miami Vice remake.
I think you might be giving him more credit for discernment (and ability to read) than he deserves.
Have to admit, the boredom does set in every time I get determinated.
*snort*
I’ve been laughing at this comment since yesterday. You’ve won the internet.
He appears to be in some sort of snit- but then, he is not known for being Mr. Smiley.
It’s because he left his socks behindo at the hotel.
I sure miss the Old Spice guy…not bored…forthright…a man for all seasons.
I got irritation mixed with exasperation, and had a mental image of some Italian director giving Mr. Non-Smiley mincing pointers on how to be s-e-x-y … I suppose that would irritate/exasperate most actors.
No, no, no, furrowed brow = intense!, not bored. His brow never unfurrows once throughout the whole clip. Too funny!
Give the poor man a break. He probably was photographed at the very moment of a mild distressing realization: he is leaning against a sand covered, possibly licheny rock in a beautiful white new shirt, which will now have to be washed.
Plus it looks like he trecked through the wet sand in shoes, which are probably now ruined.
Are you positive that wasn’t his ex-lax photo shoot? 😉
If it was, the ex-lax wasn’t working.
I read that too quickly and thought it said Colin Firth. I was very excited that D&G had picked Colin Firth to represent elegant, modern, and determinated [sic] modern man. :p Oh well.
Oh yes. I would be very happy to watch Mr. Firth in an ad!
At least make it Chanel then. Colin Firth is too good for D&G.
Same expression as me on my worst period days.
So for him, could it be a … stomach bug?
