Cloon Keen Atelier Copacetic & Infusion Assam

Galway-based Cloon Keen Atelier has launched two new fragrances, Copacetic and Infusion Assam.

Copacetic ~ "Canaveral, Florida (c. 1969). The clock ticks down to zero. The main engine starts as the rocket soars into the sky. Orange trees sway far below. ‘Houston this is Apollo. Everything is A-OK.’" With bergamot, grapefruit, orange blossom, rhubarb, basil, patchouli and vetiver.

Infusion Assam ~ "Tamil Nadu, India (c. 1990) The Antique steam train chugs through a tunnel past the green hills of a tea plantation. The train pulls to a stop as vendors busily sell steaming cups of black tea." With bergamot, smoked assam tea, mate, tonka bean and jasmine.

Cloon Keen Atelier Copacetic and Infusion Assam are available in 60 ml Eau de Parfum.

I love the sound of the word copacetic…even if it doesn’t entirely sound like what it means (in my mind, anyway). The perfume notes themselves don’t sound terribly compelling, though.

I like the word too! But it’s the assam that is singing to me 🙂

I like the word “copacetic,” too. Merriam Webster provides an interesting probable etymology at http://www.merriam-webster.com/word/word.php?date=Mar-23-2010.

That is very interesting! I love this blog – so much more than scent is discussed here.
