Cloon Keen Atelier Tulum ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 11 November 2014 5 Comments

Cloon Keen Atelier Tulum

Galway-based Cloon Keen Atelier has launched Tulum, a new fragrance inspired by the Mayan coastal site.

Tulum, Mexico (2010)

A young man carves ripened mangoes into rustic flower shapes and covers them in freshly squeezed lime and pepper. The mangos, pierced with sticks, are lined out and await the next holiday maker.

Notes include lime, mango, rose, grapefruit, golden woods and mate.

Cloon Keen Tulum is available in 60 ml Eau de Parfum.

Wasn’t Tulum region also an inspiration for Copal Azur, the newest Aeges fragrance?

Wow – there is something about that simple bottle and packaging that is extremely appealing. The notes don’t sound too bad either – though a bit summery I’d think? The company also reminds me of a favorite line in a song I love about Galway bay. I’d love to try some of their scents – but not sure where you can purchase them (since apparently not on their website) and the USA retailer listed doesn’t have them on their website either. Sad.

Yes, I’d like to try them too, I’ve heard good things. Hoping they’ll get here eventually.

I read positive reviews of their earlier scents somewhere. Super frustrated that there appears to be no way to try them in the U.S. 🙁
