Les Parfums de Rosine has launched Ballerina No. 2, the follow-up to Ballerina No. 1. The woody floral fragrance centers on a rose and magnolia accord.
The Woman
She is an asserted woman… to the top of her art.The Rose
The Ballerina rose bush, whose small flowers evoke a ballet of young dancers.
Ballerina No. 2 was developed by perfumer Benoist Lapouza. The notes include bergamot, raspberry, orange blossom, rose, magnolia, violet, eglantine, iris, sandalwood, patchouli, ambrette seeds, vanilla and amber.
Les Parfums de Rosine Ballerina No. 2 is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Oh, I’m so not a frilly sort of woman! Their bottles make me come out in a rash. LOL!
I can sometimes do a frilly bottle, but I don’t love this either. Maybe the tutu can be removed 🙂
Hmm, for some reason today this bottle struck me as sort of perky and cute, and the notes are apealing as long as the patch is subdued and well blended. I would like to sniff this…
I agree. But who wrote that copy? A woman ‘to the top of her art ‘ wouldn’t be Ballerina No. 2, would she? And assuming, ‘asserted’ is supposed to be ‘assertive,’ where does one find that in the frilly, feminine bottle, the rose description, or the scent notes? Scratches head . . .
I am assuming it is just a bad translation!
Thought of a pair of scissors myself:).
They need to come out with a little duo of 15ml or 30ml bottles. I’d seriously consider blind buying it particularly given the notes for each and I confess, those bottles. 🙂
Yup. As ever, I’d be so delighted if Rosine and all other brands would follow the Hermes lead with mix-and-match sets of travel sprays. (Credit where credit is due, I just saw the new ones from L’Artisan and Kilian–for those lines, you don’t get to choose what goes in the set, I don’t think, but it’s a big step in the right direction!)
