More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US. Today's post includes collector items from Kate Spade, Robert Piguet, Burberry and Bond no. 9.
From Kate Spade, a special edition of Live Colorfully: "To truly make a night of it, kate spade new york has thoughtfully re-imagined the beloved rainbow-hued prism that normally houses its iconic live colorfully scent into a limited-edition inky, moody blue bottle that captures the endless possibilities above us. The sky's the limit this season." $95 at Nordstrom.
From Robert Piguet, a liter of Knightsbridge: "This striking limited edition presentation of the Harrods exclusive fragrance, Knightsbridge de Robert Piguet, features a hand-decorated Swarovski 1 litre flacon – only 3 pieces exist globally." Note the older (and cheaper) versions of this bottle for Visa and Fracas. £10,000 at Harrods in the UK.
From Burberry, My Burberry in a holiday edition with red bow. Available at Printemps Haussmann in Paris, €118. (via en.vogue.fr)
From Bond no. 9, Saks Boca in a collector bottle. At the Saks Fifth Avenue in Boca Raton, Florida, price unknown. (via Bond no. 9 at Facebook)
A liter! I sure hope it is a quiet fragrance if the owner(s) plans on using it up.
The Fracas and Visa bottles were 1 liter too…the liter of Fracas really seems like an especially bad idea, LOL…and I’m a fan of Fracas.
You could pass it down to your children and grandchildren.
Look honey, I spent your inheritance on some Swarovski crystals!
You shouldn’t have!
Really.
Did you see the spray parfum Fracas (in a 50 ml size!) on NM’s site? It has a modern (lucite?) cap, which may look better in person–on line, it looks topheavy.
Interesting, and not sure why you’d want a Parfum spray? And so much of it, 50 ml. But no, don’t like that cap at all.
I don’t like Fracas, so, a liter is pretty unimaginable!
So we can invest in a matching set!
I really don’t like Bond No. 9 bottles, they just look tacky to me and don’t like the shape. The blue is nice then they tackify it with crystals, looks like a t-shirt logo on there. No offense to anyone.
I’ve never liked them, either. But as I think they overhype their fragrances too (and overprice for the quality and originality), it seems completely in keeping with their strategy.
Yep.
I like the star shape and have really liked a few of the designs. This one, agree, looks like a cheap t shirt.
How is Fracas? My girlfriend likes very much Scandal by Roja Dove and since the dominant note is tuberose, do they remind of each other or are they very different?
Speaking of limited edition bottles, I’ve just bought a H1 version of Terre D’Hermes.
I adore Fracas. Sorry cannot remember if I tried Scandal so can’t compare…
We don’t have where to sniff it right now and I don’t know if it’ll be a great blind buy…as they are always risky.
If she likes tuberose, I would say for her to definitely try it. Also, Carnal Flower.
I guess she likes tuberose, the thing is that she didn’t smell it on other perfumes. But she’s in love with Scandal which is really expensive…
Carnal Flower, yes, but it’s another one with a high price mark. I’ve found Fracas at a good price and was wondering if it’s in the same lines.
I love the indigo glass used for the Bond 🙂
