More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US. Today's post includes collector items from By Kilian, Hermès, Estee Lauder and Liquides Imaginaires.
From By Kilian, the Studio 54 scented jewelry collection: "Both glamorous and iconic, the new Studio 54 Collection is reminiscent of a disco ball adorned with black pave Swarovski crystals. Within each style, a “K” engraved ceramic is discreetly hidden inside the perforated metal ball and can be scented with any of Kilian’s 35 fragrances. The scent is then diffused through the jewel like a thin veil around the wearer, subtle yet beautifully and constantly present. Like the famed NYC nightclub, these jewels are meant to be remembered." In 18 Karat Gold Plate or Rhodium, $250-$350, due to launch in November. (via press release)
From Hermès, Jour d'Hermès in a 10 ml refillable purse spray with 125 ml Eau de Parfum refill. There is also a rose-gold color for Jour d'Hermès Absolu. $188 at Bloomingdales.
From Estee Lauder, Modern Muse in a limited edition bottle for Holiday 2014. $80 for 50 ml at Nordstrom.
From Liquides Imaginaires, limited edition pewter bottles (made by l’Orfèvrerie d’Anjou) of the brand's first three fragrances: Sancti, Fortis and Tumultu. 12 were made; size and price unknown. (via leclaireur)
This is probably the most covetable LE roundup in awhile (I even find that Modern Muse bottle adorably festive). I went to the Bloomingdale’s site to explore the Hermes refill, because, well “rose-gold” and I was thrilled to see a Hermes mini-coffret!

Pretty good line up, and the price per ml is in line with the coffret one can put together on the Hermes site.
And now I’m going down a wormhole on both the Bloomies and the Nordies site – so many great holiday sets are rolling out. Can’t wait for your roundups!
Agree, more here that I want than usual — been a long stretch of boring collector bottles. And that’s a great coffret, thanks! Would be tempted if I didn’t already have so many of them.
Robin I got that coffret, along one of the Aqua Allegorias coffrets, at the duty free shop this year coming back from the US.
Also grabbed a big bottle (100ml) of Gaultier Monsieur friction de matin (a citrus cologne, a steal at USD 25!) and a bottle of Acqua allegoria Mandarine Basilic at a nice duty free price… not as deep a discount as I would like, but decent.
I told myself that I bought the coffrets for gifting…. I am not sure now.. LOL!!
Oh, nice haul! I don’t think I ever did smell that MPG, but I remember when it came out.
it is not as nice as, say, mugler cologne, but decent. Of course it is very wispy thin, but at least the price is right and it IS advertised as a “friction” something akin to a splash cologne. 🙂
Gotcha.
Aauugh! Squirrely, for me these posts are just window shopping, and here you come with your lemming.
Fingers crossed it shows up at TJ Maxx after Christmas, or better yet in the spring, near my birthday.
