ZarkoPerfume ~ new niche line

Posted by Robin on 7 October 2014 9 Comments

ZarkoPerfume MOLéCULE 234.38, OUD’ISH, INCEPTION

Danish niche brand ZarkoPerfume debuted earlier this year with five fragrances, now available at Nordstrom in the US: MOLéCULE 234.38, OUD’ISH, INCEPTION, e’ L and PINK MOLéCULE 090.09.

MOLéCULE 234.38 ~ "MOLéCULE Eau de Parfum is more of a phenomenon than an actual fragrance. With a big molecule as its dominating ingredient, the unisex perfume combines completely contradictory molecules that evolve into a fragrance that’s adapted to you, your state of mind, your physical condition and your surroundings. The composition of the molecule and its weight correspond with your body temperature, making it an active part of the fragrance that evolves over a period of 10 hours."

OUD’ISH ~ Oud is one of the world’s most expensive raw materials used for perfume and contains a very special scent of sweet woods and woodland soils. Also known as agarwood, oud is found in dark resinous heartwood that is in high demand, thus causing its resources to deplete and making its cost greater than ever. OUD’ISH combines the coveted oud with other fine, fragrant ingredients for a luxurious, unisex scent. Notes: oud, Indian green tea, ambergris, white musk.

INCEPTION ~ "INCEPTION Eau de Parfum is a unisex fragrance that goes through six phases rather than the three phases normally seen in traditional perfumes. It begins with light tones first then moves deeper, providing full coverage of feelings and senses in a single fragrance. Notes: ozones, citrus, floral, spicy, greens, woods."

e’ L ~ "ZARKOPERFUME e’ L Eau de Parfum is composed for the self-conscious, luxurious woman who finds herself in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The Nordic, discreet scent is fresh and rich without being heavy. Notes: - Top: pomegranate, soft white florals. - Middle: greens, green tea India, ozones. - Base: white sweet musk, blond woods."

PINK MOLéCULE 090.09 ~ PINK MOLéCULE 090.09 Eau de Parfum is an interpretation of Nordic elements fused with pink champagne. Its grand opening of innocence and purity is enriched with strong, sensual undertones while evoking images of a warm spring breeze mixed with water and dark trees in Denmark. Notes: - Top: elderflower, apricot, black orchid, pink molecules. - Base: mahogany, cream accord, black wood accord."

ZarkoPerfume MOLéCULE 234.38, OUD’ISH, INCEPTION, e’ L and PINK MOLéCULE 090.09 are available now at Nordstrom, $150 each for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Yes!! If it wasn’t at Nordstrom I might suspect an elaborate hoax — in fact, I frequently suspect these new niche brands are elaborate hoaxes. And surely some of them really are.

This reminds me of that niche line with their blood type fragrances… tried them in London, freaking awful.

On their website they claim that perfumes are handmade and bottled in Denmark. Really? For Nordstrom? I want to see those hands…

The name OUD’ISH amuses me though.

It’s a great name, and if they’d said it was Oud’ish because it had no real oud (which it probably doesn’t) I’d have loved it more.

Doesnt a distribution at Nordstrom make this not niche? Nordstrom has a lot of stores.

Oh, I’d be shocked if this was in every Nordstrom store. Betcha it won’t be at mine…
