Maison Francis Kurkdjian has launched À la Rose, a new fragrance for women. The fragrance was inspired by Marie Antoinette's love of roses, and the painting Marie-Antoinette à la Rose by Louise Elisabeth Vigée-Lebrun. (You may remember the work perfumer Francis Kurkdjian did on a recreation of one of the queen's perfumes — see Sillage de la Reine).
The notes include bergamot, lemon, orange, powdery floral notes, rose, violet and cedar.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian À la Rose is available now in Japan, in 70 ml Eau de Parfum.

FK always does very nice work with roses. I’m sure this will smell wonderful. It sounds like something for spring or summer.
Hoping it is going into wide distribution…so far have not seen anything about it outside Japan.
