Niche line Byredo will launch Mojave Ghost, a new fragrance inspired by the ghost flower (Mohavea confertiflora) native to the Mojave and Sonoran deserts.
A woody composition with a light and graceful character that slowly discloses its true intensity. Heady top notes of musky ambrette combine with sweet, fresh Jamaican sapodilla fruit. Delicate, powdery Violet then unfurls to reveal soft, lingering Sandalwood brightened with fresh Magnolia. Finally warm Chantilly Musk rounds out a base of crisp ambergris and elegant Cedarwood, leaving the spirit of “Mojave Ghost” to linger on the skin.
Byredo Mojave Ghost will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

HUGE fan of the brand!Cannot wait for this 1 to arrive!
🙂
I can’t wait either. I love Gypsy Water and Palermo, like several others. Ad copy doesn’t often draw me in, but I do like this one.
It sounds really interesting but that emphasis on the word ‘light’ may mean it is another ghost of a fragrance as well. Will look forward to reviews.
Oh, could be!
I tried this at Barney’s earlier this week. It’s very commercial–light, fruity top note, floral middle, light musk base. Smells a lot like one of the J’Adores.
It’s OK, and the name was so intriguing I wanted to love it. But for me, not FBW.
I am a fan of Inflorescence, La Tulip, and for a while, Bal D’Afrique (which, over time, amped up the musk on me till I couldn’t wear it anymore.)
