Giorgio Armani will launch Sì Intense, a new fragrance for women, in August. Sì Intense is a flanker to 2013's Armani Sì.
The new version of Si is designed for a strong and passionate woman who is brave and not afraid to take risks. Such a woman is conceived as very charismatic, confident, independent and sophisticated.
Richer than the original, Si Intense is described as a modern chypre fragrance. Opening with accords of cassis and black currant heart extract. With fresh notes of mandarin, bergamot and freesia. The heart develops with essence of rose, neroli absolute, davana and osmanthus. On a base of patchouli, vanilla, ambroxan and woody notes.
Giorgio Armani Sì Intense is available now for pre-order at The Fragrance Shop in the UK. It will be sold in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum Intense.

I am dubious that this will smell any different from hundreds of things already on the market, but that is a kick-ass bottle, no question about it.
It does look nice in black (that’s glass w/ the inside painted black, btw).
BTW, I went to The Fragrance Store website to see what the price for Sì Intense was (out of mere nosiness) and they had a banner for a new scent, Boss Ma Vie, fronted by some woman who I couldn’t quite place but who kind of looked like Gwyneth Paltrow morphed with Maura Tierney. And it turns out it’s supposed to be Gwyneth Paltrow! They’ve completely changed the shape of her face!
Yes…they really did a photoshop number on her for that one! She looks like a robot.
I would like to see a new perfume come out made exclusively of notes i have never heard of before. No more little black berries or vanilla extract, no more plastic flowers, no more patchouli of any sort, or chemicals that are supposed to smell like wood!
Uh, sorry to be cranky…
Hard to say if it would be better or worse to recognize none of the notes, but I do get what you mean!
I was at Ulta the other day and smelled the original Si. It smells like so many of the fragrances already out. Nothing about it stood out. I would be surprised for this flanker to be any different. The bottle is exquisite, though.
